Engineer Thomas Gröschke’s 20-meter-long beach train is an exciting attraction for young and old alike. It stops right at the pier and offers tours through Grömitz and the surrounding area every hour on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, from April through October. With about 37 PS of power, the ride takes a good 30 minutes, during which you’ll discover the highlights of this Baltic Sea resort alongside him.

If you’re spending your first vacation in Grömitz, you simply have to take a dip in the Baltic Sea at least once—after all, it’s everywhere here! While that’s no problem in the summer, of course, it can be a bit trickier during a winter visit.
