Grömitz Harbor Festival: Three Days of Music, Delights, and a Maritime Atmosphere

From the July 16–18 The Baltic Sea resort invites you to the popular Grömitz Harbor Festival at its modern marina. Visitors can look forward to a varied program featuring live music, culinary highlights, and a genuine harbor atmosphere.

The Harbor Festival opens its doors on Thursday, July 16, at 5:00 p.m. On Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, guests can enjoy the maritime festivities starting at 11:00 a.m. On all three days of the event, the Harbor Festival area will remain open until 10:30 p.m.

July 16: Sing-along concert with Sören Schröder

The series kicks off on July 16 with a special participatory event: Under the direction of Sören Schröder, known for the successful “Deine Stadt singt” events, the OstseeFerienLand will transform into one big choir during five free sing-along concerts. At the Harbor Festival, starting at 7 p.m.: Everyone is encouraged to join in. In no time at all, Sören Schröder will turn the audience into a powerful ensemble. The program includes well-known classics, current hits, and real earworms. The lyrics will be displayed on a large screen so that absolutely everyone can sing along.

July 17: A Variety of Music with Acoustic Bricks and Cosmopauli

Friday gets off to a musical start in the afternoon: Starting at 2:30 p.m., the band Acoustic Bricks will provide great entertainment at the marina with rock and pop songs.

Starting at 6:00 p.m., a DJ will take the stage and get guests in the party mood before the party band Cosmopauli takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. For over ten years, the band has been thrilling audiences with an energetic show that combines a club atmosphere with a live performance. With seamless transitions, the latest dance hits, and well-known songs to sing along to, Cosmopauli offers an extraordinary musical experience.

July 18: Get an up-close look at sea rescue teams and enjoy musical highlights

Saturday combines maritime insights with musical highlights. From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) invites visitors to an “Open Ship” event on the “Felix Sand” as part of the Harbor Festival. Under the motto “Every Minute Counts,” the maritime rescuers will offer fascinating insights into their work. Setting out when others are returning—that is their mission: to rescue people in distress at sea. The DGzRS operates on a volunteer basis, is independent, and is funded exclusively by donations.

Starting at 3:00 p.m., the acoustic duo Klaroscuro will provide musical entertainment with their atmospheric sounds, before the live band “JEDEN TAG SILVESTER” takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. They’ll be performing their German-language rock/pop sound, which is at times powerful, at times soft, at times cheerful, and at times melancholic. The four musicians have been performing together with the same lineup since 2008. After touring as the opening act for Johannes Oerding, Mark Forster, Silbermond, and other well-known artists, they are now touring the country with their own songs and their rousing live performances.
