New cultural brochure brings Cismar's creative diversity to life

Discover art, experience culture, and get creative yourself: With its new art and culture brochure for Cismar, the monastery and artists’ village once again invites visitors to enjoy a diverse cultural program this year. Visitors can look forward to inspiring encounters, exciting events, and a wide range of hands-on activities.

Whether it’s open studios, creative workshops, or events for the whole family—the brochure offers a concise overview of the local cultural scene. At the same time, it serves as a guide to galleries, cafés, and farm stands, allowing both visitors and locals alike to experience Cismar’s creative diversity.

“Cismar embodies a unique blend of historic charm and a vibrant art scene,” says Thuan Nguyen of the Grömitz Tourism Office. “With this brochure, we want to highlight this diversity and invite visitors to discover the town in all its facets.”

An integrated calendar of events provides a clear overview of the highlights throughout the year—including the Art and Culture Days in June, the Monastery Festival in August, the Monastery Sounds in September, and the St. Martin’s Market in November.

“Special thanks go to the Schleswig-Holstein State Museum for its generous support in producing the brochure,” said Nguyen.

The art and culture brochure is now available and will guide you through the cultural year in Cismar. For more information and to access the digital version, visit www.groemitz.de/kloster-cismar available.
