New Playground for the Grömitz Marina

A new adventure ship, the red-and-white slide lighthouse, and, of course, a water splash area have been inviting children to play, run around, and have fun at the new playground in the Grömitz marina since June 19.

After about four weeks of construction and curing, the time has finally come: The new playground at the Grömitz marina opened its doors on Thursday, June 19. The new facility was designed with every age group in mind, so that adventurers of all ages can have a great time. The maritime-themed play equipment blends harmoniously into the marina setting and invites children to balance, climb, slide, and splash around. “It was especially important to us that the water play area be included again, since it’s an absolute highlight for all children,” says Manfred Wohnrade, delighted with the new playground. “With the new playground at the marina, we’ve laid the first foundation for new adventure playgrounds offering high-quality experiences for our young guests. Additional new play areas are planned to be built gradually along the entire promenade as well as in the ‘Kurpark’.”
