The “Sonnenplatz29” RV park at the “Lensterstrand” will reopen on September 17, 2025!

The big day had finally arrived: The newly built “Sonnenplaz29” RV park, operated by the Grömitz Tourism Service, opened on September 17, 2025. It boasts a prime location right behind the dike and can accommodate up to 29 RVs.

Just in time for the golden autumn season, the new “Sonnenplatz29” RV park opened at the “Lensterstrand.” “After several months of planning and construction, we are now looking forward to welcoming the first RVs and guests to our site,” says Manfred Wohnrade, operations manager at Tourismus-Service Grömitz, which operates the site. The construction plans were brought to life on-site under the leadership of GST Grimm Straßen- und Tiefbau.

In a prime location, just a stone's throw from the beach, guests can enjoy a carefree RV vacation on the 29 newly built sites, which offer plenty of space for privacy. New restroom facilities, including showers, a water and waste disposal station, and electricity and water hookups are, of course, available to guests. Prices range from 25.00 euros per site per night from April through October and 20.00 euros per site per night from November through March, plus tourist tax in each case.  Reservations are not possible; the “first-come, first-served” principle applies. Payment of the fee and topping up a prepaid card (e.g., for showers, etc.) can be conveniently done on-site at a vending machine.

The park is open 24 hours a day, but quiet hours must be observed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
