Following the announcement of Clueso for Sunday, we’re now revealing the next highlight of the Sonne, Strand, Sterne Festival, which will take place from July 1 through 5, 2026, on Grömitzer Beach. On Saturday, July 4, 2026, it’s “Best of the ’90s” with seven acts that defined the decade and will once again get the beach dance floor shaking. Saturday will be a trip back in time to the ’90s.

From July 1 to 5, 2026, the “Sun, Beach [&] Stars” music festival will take place on the beach next to the pier in the Baltic Sea resort of Grömitz. Over five summer days, dazzling stars and rising stars will perform their latest hits and classics. From Wednesday through Friday (July 1–3), there will be free live concerts in the evening. On Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, 2026, music lovers can look forward to two special concert evenings.

The big day had finally arrived: The newly built “Sonnenplaz29” RV park, operated by the Grömitz Tourism Service, opened on September 17, 2025. It boasts a prime location right behind the dike and can accommodate up to 29 RVs.

Am beliebten Strandabschnitt Klostersee in Grömitz steht nun eine moderne Notrufsäule. Sie wurde von der Björn-Steiger-Stiftung gespendet und ist Teil eines bundesweiten Projekts zur Verbesserung der Notfallversorgung an Gewässern. Die Säule ermöglicht es Strandbesuchern, in kritischen Situationen schnell und unkompliziert Hilfe zu rufen. Unterstützt wird die Initiative von der Deutschen Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft (DLRG), die das Projekt seit Beginn aktiv begleitet.

Thanks to a growing number of partner destinations, the Baltic Sea Guide’s coverage area—and thus the variety of tips—is constantly expanding. Soon it will also include inland areas, as the Baltic Sea Guide will feature not only many coastal towns but also Holstein Switzerland in the future.
