In cooperation with Rohde Verkehrsbetriebe, the Grömitz Tourist Information Office offers regular bus service between Grömitz and Lensterstrand from 9:30 a.m. to 7:07 p.m. This allows visitors to plan their day flexibly without having to use their own car.
Guests with the Ostseecard (including all children and teenagers up to age 18 listed on the registration form) as well as residents of the municipality of Grömitz with a valid ID card may use the Sonnenshuttle free of charge. All other passengers pay the regular SH fare.
Financing and Future Prospects
The extension of the Sonnenshuttle service is the first measure implemented as part of the town development plan and is being funded by an increase in the visitor’s tax.
