The Grömitz Tourism Service is seeking to fill the following position as soon as possible on a full-time, permanent basis

a gardener (m/f/d)

in the fields of horticulture and landscaping, cemetery or perennial gardening, and ornamental plant cultivation

Your responsibilities include:

The position primarily involves all types of landscaping work that may arise within the municipality of Grömitz, such as planting, flower and lawn maintenance, and tree and hedge care. The work is primarily concentrated in the Promenade and “Kurpark” areas. In addition, the role includes assisting with the setup and takedown of events, performing winter maintenance, carrying out cleaning tasks, and other ad hoc duties as needed.

Your profile:

In addition to the ability to work independently and responsibly, we expect you to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, technical proficiency in handling tools and vehicles, the ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to work on weekends and holidays. In addition to several years of professional experience as a gardener, we prefer candidates who hold a C1E and T driver’s license.

The position is a permanent position under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Public Sector (TVöD-V). Compensation is based on pay grade 5.

The Grömitz Tourism Office is looking for

a pool attendant (m/f/d) on a full-time or part-time basis

for its water and wellness paradise, the “Grömitzer Welle.”

Grömitzer Welle opened in July 2015 and features 1,000 m² of water attractions, including a wave pool, adventure pool, hot tub, lazy river, and water slide, as well as a wide range of classes, health programs, and entertainment activities. It also offers a large wellness area, a steam room, and various saunas—Finnish, light, and Biovital—as well as a panoramic area with ocean views – relaxation areas, rain shower, ice fountain, outdoor pool, dining options, bar and restaurant areas, outdoor terraces, and much more.

You are a good fit for this exciting role if you have solid technical knowledge and skills and are eager to provide our pool guests with a wonderful experience as a host.

Your responsibilities:

  • Adherence to proper operating procedures,
  • Conducting water safety supervision independently and on one's own initiative,
  • Overseeing the operation of the sauna,
  • active customer support and retention,
  • Ensuring service quality,
  • Offering course programs, particularly swimming lessons, services, and special promotions,
  • Ensuring operational safety and the smooth running of technical operations,
  • Cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of the swimming facilities.
