Pier in Grömitz
At 398 meters long, the pier, together with the pier plaza, is the most popular gathering spot for all vacationers on the beach in Grömitz. The current pier was inaugurated in 1984 and continues to fulfill its primary purpose to this day. In the past, most visitors arrived in the Baltic Sea resort via the pier. And even today, it plays a major role for visitors. Popular events such as a variety of concerts and “Ostsee in Flammen” take place here.
The bridge is equipped with a sun deck, swivel chairs, climbing nets, and a lighthouse slide. With the submersible gondola, anyone who’s curious can explore the underwater world of the Baltic Sea from the pierhead.
Regular boat tours also depart from the pier:
