Sandra Kuhn talks about her personal connection to the Baltic Sea resort of Grömitz
If Grömitz were an island—what are the three things you would take with you?
"Packing for the family is second nature to me. If I could take three things with me to the island, it would be a tube of sunscreen, a rain jacket, and a smartphone—so I can show everyone else how beautiful it is. You can find everything else in Grömitz anyway."
You've already explored many beautiful regions and islands—so why did you fall in love with Grömitz?
"I really love Grömitz. My love for the Baltic Sea and the coastal town of Grömitz was practically instilled in me by my parents from the moment I was born. My parents used to visit Grömitz often even before we had children, and then they started taking us there regularly—about two or three times a year. Grömitz is like my second home—I know all the best spots there, and my heart fills with joy every time we drive into town and see the Grömitz sun.”
Your Favorite Places—Where Can You Be Found in Grömitz?
"We like to have coffee at 'Torks Coffee,' prefer to eat at the seafood restaurant 'Seefahrtsklause,' and on almost every visit, we find ourselves drawn to the Grömitz Zoo. Dogs are allowed there, which isn't always the case, but we really enjoy that."
Balancing work and family is one of the challenges facing modern women. We steal a few moments to catch our breath and take some time off to recharge our batteries. What are your personal ways to recharge?[nbsp]
"Spending time in Grömitz with my family is the perfect way to recharge. The intimate, very personal atmosphere and the modern surroundings give me the chance to relax and recharge my batteries. A break by the sea is priceless, and for me, it also means family time."[nbsp]
