We will turn off the lights on March 28, 2026, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Earth Hour is a global climate and environmental protection campaign in which millions of people, cities, and companies turn off their lights for one hour each year. Initiated by the WWF, this campaign brings people together around the world. As part of the funded Interreg project Best-of-Baltic, the OstseeFerienLand is participating in this campaign for the first time.

Easter is just around the corner, and the Baltic Sea resort of Grömitz and the surrounding villages are transforming into a vibrant world of experiences for the whole family. From April 4 to 6, guests and locals alike can look forward to an Easter program featuring numerous hands-on activities, music, and entertainment. A special highlight is the colorful kite festival on the beach, where impressive kites take over the sky above Grömitz. But the annual traditions are also being upheld: live music, crackling Easter bonfires, and a big Easter egg hunt.

Exciting pictures, illustrations, and puzzles await on 16 pages, ready to be discovered and solved by young and old alike.

The desire for a short getaway right on one’s doorstep remains as strong as ever: The “change of scenery” in January and February 2026, organized by Lübeck und Travemünde Marketing GmbH (LTM) in collaboration with Timmendorfer Strand Niendorf Tourismus GmbH (TSNT), the Lübecker Bucht Tourism Agency (TALB), and OstseeFerienLand (OFL), was more popular than ever.
